Hi world! Super late HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

After being in the hospital due to bilateral pneumonia for a week (and on bed rest for another) last year and discovering I have mild levoscoliosis just recently, I've been non-productive for about a month, promising myself I'm not going to let myself get stressed just yet. Now, however, I finally feel like "recovering" from my allergy to work. My motivation:

Doc (my boss): Miss Almay, parang nawawalan ka na ng gana sa project natin, palibhasa aalis ka na ha. Ayusin mo naman yung mga pending natin!
Me: Sir, I refuse to accept your statement ha. D ko naman napapabayaan e. If it were only solely up to me, this project should've been finished last year pa!
Doc: Gusto mo testing-in kita?
Me: Sige! (Naks, confident!)
Doc: So kelan matatapos yung sa QA?
Me: End of January, that's 10 days to go. And then the lab's ETC is Feb 23. That is, given there wouldn't be any other issues w/ the contractor.
Doc: You know, ang mga boss may mga nakikita talaga yan. Sa tingin ko sa yo parang tamad na tamad ka na e! (partly true! hehe...)
Me: D naman noh!
Doc: So what do you do when your boss thinks that way of you?
Me: Prove him otherwise!
Doc: O sige. Pakita mo sa kin.
Me: Next week, sir. Watch me move! Check mo accomplishments.
Doc: Talaga lang huh!

Ang yabang kasi e! Hehe... That's why the pressure is on me now to push push PUSH our contractors. I'm supposed to work the whole weekend (again!) but I'm trying to delegate efficiently right now. Assign this to this, call this to do that, remind who to report for work tom... that sort of stuff. This HAS to work cuz if not, it's gonna cause me a lot of trouble. Hay. Please don't tell me I HAVE to go to the plant tomorrow. Noooooo!

Oh and the transfer part.. I'm assuming a new role starting next month. It's actually a promotion (*wink!*), but a lot less stressful (*winks some more!!*)! At least that's what I think, and I'm hoping what I think is what will be. So, wish me luck! =)
