I'm just about done setting up my "office" here in my room. Just a quick post (hopefully) while I'm downloading my email...

Since I left the office early last Wednesday (because I was too dizzy and useless) and I don't want to go to work tomorrow (wish me luck), I have to work from here. Bummer. This isn't a good 5-day break after all. Grrrr.

My plan to be with Ali and relax for real didn't materialize because, well, my mom won't let me go cause it's holy week and she says you can't go out wherever or have fun. I'm like a 12 year old girl who couldn't go out on a school night. Still feeling bad because hel-lo?! it's not every week that you get to have a long weekend! I am such a loser.

Aside from the 3 1/2-hour mass and the prusisyon last night (which I was forced by my mom to join), I did nothing but watch TV, eat, sleep, and surf. I enjoyed watching Love Affair (which I decided is a must-watch with Jax, being one of my all-time faves) and Heart and Souls (I really heart Robert Downey Jr.) on HBO. Brings back good times, as in grade-seven-good-times.

I have a bazillion things I'd like to get for myself - a new wallet, another pair of shades, the Bare Naked Lady Dusting Powder from Lush, pair of black boots, leather case for Reese (now that it looks like I'm gonna use her more heavily in the office), light blue bag to match my rift sneaks, etc. etc. etc. There's so much to shop for but with very little resources!... so help me God.

Craving for ice cream (I'd like to try Cold Rock NOW). I miss Jax. If only he was here in Manila (err San Pedro... and then he'd drive all the way to Makati for me), I could have sweet-talked him into going to The Fort Strip by now. Oh well.

Back to work. *groan*

I've been looking forward to this long weekend mainly because it's good great to be away from work for a while. There's nothing to look forward to, really, but the break is definitely well-deserved.

What's happened so far:

1. Missed dinner with Ems and Nix at Alabang the other night because I was effing throwing up all afternoon . Major BOOHOO!!! Girls, I'm really really sorry. I promise to make it up to you guys.

2. Left my phone at Jax's overnight. I was too groggy, go figure.

3. Visita Iglesia with the family, which ended with lunch at Italianni's.

4. Hoarded paper towels from KC c/o Nix. I always loved convoys with Tammy, especially with good danceable music blasting from Reese.

5. Finally talked to (1) Che about the recent drama series and (2) Omar about the rehabilitation of our DI water system and other career plans.

6. Wondered how PBB could've aired "live" with the housemates telling stories of their life struggles and all.. I mean how could they have known which stories would be watch-worthy enough not to cut for a commercial break?

7. Lunch at Superbowl Blue Wave with Jax today before he left for Pangasinan.

8. Seventh Heaven marathon. A classic - never fail to do this every year.

I'm sensing a lazy lazy weekend.. and already loving it!!! =)

I wish I could go to Ali's for the weekend though.
